By definition Kindred is the sharing of beliefs, attitudes, or feelings with one another. That is why this name was created to describe the essence of what we do best, share our music with the people we love most.

Kindreds choice of music depends on the audience, the atmosphere and what might be moving us at the moment. We can rip out a blue's tune and transition it into a jig or reel. We can play the oldies or switch to contemporary within the same set.  What moves us in music is what fuels our often diverse shows. Which makes us appropriate for almost any venue music halls, restaurants, pubs, formal events, or even your own private living room.

Kindred loves to play Irish, country, folk, blues, acoustic rock, oldies, jazz or indie pieces from artists that have influenced and moved us over the years.

Joe Roche and Caitlin Durney Grossman started playing together in the Celtic Rock group Twenty Six and Six in late 2008.  Officially becoming Kindred in early 2010.
