Formed in July 2005, after a fateful meeting at the Tyres Acoustic Music club in Gippsland. Julianne & Nik quickly developed a thriving musical chemistry and Kindred Duo, Live Music was born. This contemporary musical duo provides a huge range of live cover music for Weddings, Birthday Celebrations for all ages, Work Functions, Corporate Events, Festivals, Restaurants, Pubs, Engagement parties, New Years Eve Celebrations and more.

Kindred duo's live music includes an extensive repertoire, which means that Kindred Duo is able to cater to a variety of musical tastes. With Julianne on lead vocals and Nik on lead guitar, this dynamic duo’s style of music ranges from beautiful ballads through to up beat rock. With that awesome unplugged acoustic accent, Kindred Duo plays cover songs ranging from today's top 40s right back to the classics of the 70s 80s & 90s.

Julianne & Nik are a duo band, (also available to play solo.)  They are experienced musicians, performers & entertainers who motivate & inspire audiences to join them in having a great time. With their wireless guitar & microphone setups, they are not restricted to the stage.  Kindred Duo love's to interact with your guests as they party on with you. Other key features of the band's performances includes fantastic harmonies, Nik's brilliant guitar work and Julianne’s beautiful vocals. Having that full acoustic guitar sound sets Kindred apart from many other musical acts who use backing tracks to fill out their sound. Whilst being easily mobile and suitable to any venue size, Kindred Duo supplies all of their own professional sound & lighting equipment including a powerful P.A. system.
